drop x86_fc_3 platform which appears to be no longer available

add openssl-0.9.7-shared to prereqs_ppc_macos_10.4 because system
openssl has bad headers

test against GT 4.0.6 now

Tweak CPPFLAGS in patch configure.ac (not GPT version) to fix build
problem on macos.  (Basically, revert to revision 1.64.)

Tweak the environment variables set by the configure script for the
GSI patch (i.e., not the GPT package) to try to fix AIX build problems.

more sun4u_sol_5.9 machines have openssl-0.9.7-shared than have
openssl-0.9.8e-shared, so use openssl-0.9.7-shared for faster builds

we're not using $GSI_LIBS anymore, so check $GSI_LDFLAGS instead

in addition to GLOBUS_PKG_LIBS, use GLOBUS_LDFLAGS, GLOBUS_CPPFLAGS,
GLOBUS_INCLUDES, and GLOBUS_CFLAGS from globus-makefile-header

test with openssl-0.9.8e-shared on x86_fc_4 to get more coverage for
openssl-0.9.8 testing

use GPT-branch instead of old OPENSSH_3_1P1_GSSAPI_GPT-branch

Use openssl prereqs to satisfy new globus_openssl package.

Update to hpn12v20 from hpn12v18.

Don't build on ia64_sles_8 anymore.  There is some problem with the
NMI ia64_sles_8 machine(s).  Also, set remote_task_timeout to catch
hanging builds.
