  11 Description: CDBS modules for building configuration packages
  12  This package contains a system of CDBS modules for creating Debian
  13  configuration packages: packages that configure an existing Debian
  14  system by using dpkg-divert on configuration files.  These modules
  15  attempt to make the process of creating configuration packages
  16  efficient by checking the md5sums of upstream configuration files
  17  that are to be modified and automatically generating the relevant
  18  postinst code to perform the diversions using the standard debhelper
  19  mechanism.

  21  The config-package-dev modules are optimized for site defaults (i.e.
  22  configuration for a university or a company), though they are useful
  23  for other applications as well.
