   4 smstest \- perform SMS operations manually

   9 allows one to perform by hand all operations allowed in the sms
  10 protocol.  There are no command line options, as commands are given to
  11 a prompt within the program.  Control operations are:

  14 make a network connection to the SMS server.

  16 .B disconnect
  17 break the network connection to the SMS server.

  19 .B script inputfile [outputfile]
  20 read commands from
  21 .I inputfile.  If
  22 .I outputfile is specified, output will be redirected there while
  23 commands are read from

  27 lists all of the

  45 performs a query operation on the server.  All of the real work is
  46 done in queries.  There are over 100 queries, each of which requires
  47 different arguments.  the arguments should be placed on the line
  48 following the name of the query, separated by whitespace.

  50 .B access query_handle [query arguements ...]
  51 performs an authorization check on a query without actually executing
  52 the query.  The arguments are the same as those in the
  53 .B query
  54 command described above.

  56 There is no way to enter whitespace into a string argument to a query.
